Extension agreed with Council to review Marston Valley consultation responses

[This news story was updated again on 5 February 2019]

Following the end of the Central Bedfordshire Council (CBC) public consultation on the outline planning application for Marston Valley submitted in May 2018, the council has been considering all of the feedback received from statutory consultees, parish councils and residents.

The statutory timeframe for determining the application has now passed. However, given the complex nature of the application, the council has agreed with O&H Properties to allow an extension of time for the determination period until the end of June 2019. This allows the council and us more time to continue to consider the consultation responses received so far from statutory consultees, parish councils and residents.

Next steps will be posted on the council’s website and issued by email alerts to everyone who has subscribed to updates. Those who comment on the application will be advised when the application is due to be heard by CBC’s Development Management Committee and the council’s website will be updated accordingly. The development management meeting is open to the public and webcast online.

Should the proposal be granted, we already know at this stage that there will be further work in terms of design codes and reserved matters applications (setting out the details of individual development parcels) which will need to be dealt with before the development can start.
