How confident can you be that no new Air Quality Management Areas will be created by the Marston Valley proposal?
We have taken a very robust approach in our air quality assessment to ensure that the traffic from the development does not lead to new Air Quality Management Areas being created for existing properties in the Marston Vale.
The development will also be designed to allow the future properties to have good air quality and not be adversely impacted by road traffic emissions.
We consulted with Central Bedfordshire Council before undertaking the air quality assessment, and that assessment will be fully scrutinised by the Council when the outline planning application is submitted.
