How will the water table be affected by the development?
We have carried out a full flood risk assessment which assesses how both existing and future homes would be affected by the proposed development. This has been submitted with the outline planning application. Consequently, we are designing Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) which will prevent against future flooding and we are working closely with the Environment Agency and the Internal Drainage Board to follow their guidance.
