What other facilities will be available in the villages?
Marston Valley will provide village shops, possibly including a supermarket in Redlands, as well as a hotel, cafes, village halls and indoor sports facilities.
We are proposing more health centres, dentists, estate agents and nurseries / crèches in the villages, subject to local demand.
These sorts of facilities will be located in community hubs throughout the scheme and are intended to complement, not compete with, existing provision.
If there are any existing local facilities that require improvement, we can potentially invest in these amenities too, subject to discussion with the parish councils and Central Bedfordshire Council.
